   WHERE WE'VE BEEN AND WHERE WE'LL BE IN 2017


     Members of the Tucson Electric Vehicle Association bring their cars to a variety of
     public events throughout the year. In addition to our monthly scheduled indoor meetings,
     we take advantage of the fabulous weather in southern Arizona throughout the fall, winter
     and spring. Below are a number of
great oppotunities to see electric vehicles up close and
     talk to the owners. Come out and say hello!

     TUCSON PEACE FAIR

     Saturday, February 25, 2017
/ 11AM - 4PM

     Armory Park, 221 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ


     A large gathering of peace, justice and environmental groups. Live music,
     food, entertainment, children's activities and more. Free and open to the
     community
. This was TEVA's 1st year participating.

     BIOSPHERE 2 EARTH MONTH / INAGURAL WEEKEND
    
     Saturday, April 1, 2017 / 10AM - 3PM

     U of A Biosphere 2 Facility, Oracle, AZ


     Each year, Biosphere 2 hold a series of events each Saturday in April, with a different
     yet related environmentally- sutainable theme each weekend. TEVA has displayed
     vehicles on the inagural Saturday of B2's Earth Month every year since 2013.

     BIOSPHERE 2 EARTH MONTH / EARTH DAY

     Saturday, April 22, 2017 / 10AM - 5PM

     U of A Biosphere 2 Facility, Oracle, AZ


     In addition to the above mentioned inaguaral Earth Month weekend, Biosphere 2
     staged a large special event on Earth Day, April 22nd . . . featuring a large gathering
     of like-minded non-profits, vendors, children's activities, public speakers and a live
     perfromance by the band Calexico. TEVA was pleased to participate in this historic
     event.

     TUCSON EARTH DAY

     Saturday, April 22, 2017 / 10AM - 2PM

     Tucson Children's Museum, 200 S. 6th Avenue, Tucson, AZ


     Celebrating it's 23rd consecutive year in Tucson and around the world since 1970,
     Earth Day was more relevant this year than it's ever been before. TEVA has brought
     vehicles to Tucson Earth Day each year since
2013. Free admission.

     RACE THE SUN / SOLAR ELECTRIC GO-CART RACE

     Saturday, April 29, 2017 / 12 NOON - 2:30PM

     Musselman Honda Circuit, 
11800 S. Harrison Road, Tucson, AZ

     The University of Arizona's Tech Park sponsors an event each year that witnesses
     teams of
local and regional high school students racing solar-powered electric go-carts
     they
constructed over the previous academic year. This is a chance to see tomorrow's
     solar technology and
electric vehicle engineers in action. Celebrating its 5th anniversary
     in 2017, this was TEVA's
first year in attendance. Free admission.

     SOLAR GUILD & CITiZENS FOR SOLAR / SOLAR POTLUCK

     Saturday, May 6, 2017
/ 10AM - Sunset

     Catalina State Park, Oro Valley, AZ


     An educational, family-friendly event that features demonstarions of a variety of solar
    
technologies and other environmentally-relevant topics. Speakers and musicians were
     featured throughout on a stage with a PA system powered by solar energy. Admission
     is free, but each car pays a day pass at the park entrance. Carpooling from metro
     Tucson in EVs is an option TEVA provides each year. We've participated annually
     since 2013.

     NATIONAL DRIVE ELECTRIC WEEK (NDEW) - TUCSON - 2017

     TEVA will have a vareity of NDEW events scheduled throughout the week and the
     adjoining weekends for 2017 . . . indoors and outdoors, day and night. Check back
     here later this summer for a complete NDEW-Tucson-2017 itinerary.


     An annual event that promotes EVs, founded in 2011 as National Plug In Day (NPID)
     and now celebrated internationally, NDEW is coordinated by Plug In America, the
     Sierra Club and the Electric Auto Association.

     There were 235 individual NDEW events staged in 7 countries in 2016. When it got
     started in 2011, NPID consisted of just a handful of communities across the US and
     Canada. TEVA - and, by extension, Tucson - has had a presence since its inception.

     TUCSON MEET YOURSELF
    
     Saturday, October 14, 2017, 11AM - 10PM
     Sunday, October 15, 2017, 11AM - 6PM

     Historic Pima County Courthouse, 115 N. Church Ave., Tucson, AZ

     Founded in 1974, this annual celebration of the living traditional arts of Southern
     Arizona's and Northern Mexico's diverse ethnic and folk communities features
     hundreds of artisans, home cooks, dancers, musicians and special exhibits. Within
     the larger event is a car show organized by the local Duke's Car Club, primarily
     featuring vintage Street Rod and Low Rider vehicles. TEVA has been honored
     to be their guests with our electric cars since 2015. Free admission.

     TUCSON CLASSICS CAR SHOW

     Saturday, October 21, 2017, 10AM - 4PM

     The Gregory School, 3231 N. Craycroft Rd., Tucson, AZ

     Presented by the Rotary Club of Tucson, this 11-year-old event has become one of
     largest and most varied vintage automobile gatherings of its kind in southern Arizona.
     Live music, prize drawings and a silent action are just a few of the elements to look
     forward to. Donations and proceeds benefit local charities around Tucson. TEVA is
     pleased to be participating with a display of electric vehicles for the first time this year.

     ENVISION TUCSON SUSTAINABLE FESTIVAL

     Sunday, November 12, 2017, 11AM - 4PM

     YWCA Tucson, 525 N. Bonita Ave., Tucson, AZ 

     "Demonstrating, Educating, Celebrating" is this annual event's motto. It brings together
     key individuals, organizations, and companies in our community who are working to
     help us not just envision, but also create a resilient future for Tucson and Southern
     Arizona. Exhibits and activities will address all aspects of sustainability . . . including
     electric cars. TEVA has enthusiatically participated each year since 2013. Admission
     is free of charge.

     TUCSON PARADE OF LIGHTS

     Saturday, December 16, 2017, 7PM - 9PM

     Downtown Tucson, along S. 6th Avenue & S. Stone Avenue

     Brought to you by the Downtown Tucson Partnership, the Parade of Lights was
     established in 1994 as a uniquely Tucson take on the holiday season . . . and one that's
     on the move. The parade stretches through the historic Armory Park neighborhood,
     adjacent to the downtown, with crowds spontaneously assembled along the entire route.
     No cost to come down for the evening and watch. TEVA has brightly decorated its
     vehicles in the spirit of the season and rolled through the streets since 2014.
